Income received from your donated merchandise goes directly to fund our emergency shelters, rehabilitation centers, and various programs for our clients that move them back into productive, meaningful lives. You can drop off your donation directly at a Thrift Store location or call us to schedule a free pick up (see phone # in this brochure). Even your non-working appliances can be used to provide job training to the men working to learn a trade and re-enter a productive life. Your donations are a critical link in our ministry of providing resources and support to those people in our communities who desperately need a helping hand. As we extend hope and encouragement to the homeless, hungry and addicted, we pray that you will choose to partner with us in this important work.

When you become a volunteer with Atlanta Union Mission, you become a vital part of a ministry that touches the lives of those most in need within our community. Thrift Store volunteers assist with a variety of duties from retail sales and store organization to special programs and events that promote the Thrift Store and More ministry. Additionally, there are church and business volunteer groups that organize donation drives, promote Thrift shopping and get involved with community outreach.
